Mariana joined Basalt in 2023 and is based in the London office. Mariana focuses on the origination, execution, management and operation of investments, predominantly in Western Europe.

Previously, Mariana spent two years at CBRE Investment Management where she was a Senior Director, focused on indirect private infrastructure investments in OECD markets. Prior to that, Mariana worked for 8 years at Citigroup where she was a senior investment banking vice president focused on power, utilities, and renewables in the EMEA region.

Mariana holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Oklahoma, a master’s degree in economics from Fordham University, and a Master in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
