Lian joined Basalt in 2026 and is located in the London office. Lian advises on the origination, execution, management and operation of investments, predominately in Western Europe.

Prior to joining Basalt Infrastructure Partners, Lian was an Associate in the Power & Utilities team at RBC Capital Markets, where he spent over three years primarily focusing on transactions across renewables and the energy transition in Europe.

Lian holds an MA in Economics with Finance from the University of Edinburgh.
