Tom joined Basalt as an Operating Partner in 2025. He has over 30 years experience in the logistics, energy and circular economy sectors in business, commercial and financial leadership positions. Tom began his career at Arthur Andersen before taking on roles in international logistics and fulfillment at Exel Plc and DHL and leadership roles in energy distribution in DCC Plc. Since 2004, Tom has been at the forefront of the waste management and materials recovery sectors in UK and Ireland, firstly in his leadership of AES Waste Management and Bord na Mona’s resource recovery strategy and latterly as CEO of Enva, the leader in waste-derived materials development in the UK.
