Vanessa joined Basalt in September 2016 as financial controller, and assists with the finance and accounting and the ongoing operations of the Adviser and the Fund. Vanessa was previously a fund accountant at Balfour Beatty Investments, where she was responsible for providing finance and administrative services to the Adviser.

Vanessa holds a BA (hons) in Business Studies at London Guildhall and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
