Basalt Infrastructure Partners LLC (“Basalt”) announced today that funds advised by Basalt have acquired Go Lime Group Inc. (“Go Lime”) and substantially all the assets of the Crown Crest Group of Companies (“Simply Green”).
Go Lime is a home equipment lessor to residential customers in Ontario, Canada. Simply Green is a Canadian home equipment lease portfolio in receivership. Go Lime and Simply Green both lease water heaters, HVAC units, and water treatment systems to residential homeowners under long-term contracts.
The dual transaction will create Canada’s fourth largest home equipment leasing platform, with a combined portfolio of approximately 90,000 leases. Combining Go Lime and Simply Green creates economies of scale and enables Basalt to enter the Canadian residential equipment leasing sector.
