Basalt is delighted to announce that, in line with the continued growth of Basalt’s business, John Hanna (Partner and Head of Europe) and David Greenblatt (Partner and Head of North America) have been named Co-Managing Partners. John and David have both been integral to Basalt’s success since our inception. They have shown exceptional leadership in their Head of Region roles and continue to drive the business forward.  

Rob Gregor and Steven Lowry have become Senior Partners, remaining fully committed to Basalt and closely involved in the investment activities and day-to-day operations of the business.

In addition, Basalt is pleased to announce that Malcolm Brown will be joining Basalt in September as an Operating Partner, with a focus on Transport.

Malcolm has extensive experience in the transport sector, bringing over 30 years of operational expertise to the Basalt platform. Furthermore, Malcolm has significant experience working with members of the Basalt Management team in previous transport investments, having first worked together in 2008.

Malcolm joins Jim Larsen (Utilities), Paul Doyle (Digital), Rita Theil (Energy) and Tom Walsh (Waste) to augment Basalt’s bench of Operating Partners, who are working together with the investment team to support value creation across our key investment sectors.
